George Jacob Pryse was born in Germany ca. 1730. He emigrated with his wife and baby to America in 1752. They settled in Lexington County, S.C. Descendants are scattered, though many remain in S.C. George Jacob Pryse adopted the spelling "Price" in America.

Johannes Kraud/Kraut/Crout, Sr. was born ca. 1744 and died before 1820. He was buried at Old Homeplace, Hollow Creek, Lexington County, South Caroline. His wife's maiden name is unknown. There were five children of record. His wife died between 1820-1830 and was buried in the same community as indicated for Johannes above.

In July of 1738 "Widow" Derick (Derrick), age 26, arrived in Georgia aboard the ship "Two Brothers". She was accompanied by her four children. Nothing is known of her husband. Her sons later settled in Lexington Co., South Carolina. Most descendants remained in South Carolina.
