Rev. Ebenezer Hidden and his son, Andrew (d.1701), immigrated from England to Portsmouth or Salem in Essex County, Massachusetts. Andrew was one of the first settlers at Rowley, Massachusetts before 1653 and married Sarah Houstin in 1654. Descendants lived in New England, New York, Washington and elsewhere in the United States. Some descendants immigrated to Ontario province and elsewhere in Canada.
