Thomas Cameron (fl.1759-1795) immigrated from Scotland to Ireland before 1759, and then immigrated to Charleston, South Carolina about 1767. He and his family settled on land in Craven (later Fairfield) County, South Carolina, and he also bought land in Elbert County, Georgia. Descendants and relatives lived in South Carolina, Georgia, Kentucky, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, California and elsewhere. Includes some ancestors in Scotland to 1629.

Paul Patrick, son of Lewis Patrick, was born in Surry County, Virginia and married Agnes Millikin in North Carolina ca. 1752. He died ca. 1799 in Ogelthorpe County, Georgia. One descendant, Little Berry Patrick (1798-1856), and his wife, Anna Connell (1810-1856) left Georgia for Mississippi and later arrived in Union Parish, Louisiana ca. 1855. Descendants lived in Louisiana, North Carolina, Georgia and elsewhere.
