Joseph Lanker, son of a German immigrant, was born in 1801 in Pennsylvania, and married Margaret Enterline (Margaretta Enderlein). After several moves, they settled in Redbank Township, Armstrong Co., Pennsylvania, where he died in 1865.

John (Johannes) Stahlman (ca. 1758-1823) was born probably in Berks Co., Pa. and died probably in Lower Mahantonga Twp., Schuylkill Co. Pa. His wife Eleanor (Ellen, Helena?) (ca. 1760's-1844) died probably in Limestone or Red Bank Twp., Clarion Co., Pa. They had eleven known children, six sons and five daughters. Some descendants of the oldest son, Solomon, who settled in Huntingdon Co. used surname Stallman.

Thomas Aaron married Elizabeth Reinsel before 1783, and moved from Berks County to Westmoreland County, and about 1811 to Crates (later New Bethlehem), Pennsylvania.
