Francis Clark (1809-1855), son of William Clark, married Elizabeth Hodge in 1832 and emigrated from England (via New Orleans) to Nauvoo, Illinois. He did much of stone carving work on the Nauvoo Temple. He stayed in Nauvoo because of poor health. Descendants and relatives lived in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas and elsewhere. Jacob White was born in Pennsylvania in 1855. He married Elizabeth Horst in 1879 and they had seven children who grew to adulthood.
