Francis Clark (1809-1855), son of William Clark, married Elizabeth Hodge in 1832 and emigrated from England (via New Orleans) to Nauvoo, Illinois. He did much of stone carving work on the Nauvoo Temple. He stayed in Nauvoo because of poor health. Descendants and relatives lived in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas and elsewhere.
