John Wilson Sides, son of Leonard Seitz (1786-1863) and Sarah Fogleman (1796-1873), was born in 1830 in Washington County, Indiana. He married Amamda Davis (1833-1894), daughter of Joab Davis (1804-1857) and Sarah Brown Mull (1812-1891), in 1853. He died in 1912. Moses Hanks (ca. 1747-1831), probably the son of Luke Hanks (d. ca. 1756), married Aggatha Doson, ca. 1768. They had twelve children, 1769-1793, all born in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. The family migrated to Lincoln County, Kentucky, ca. 1798, and to Williamson County, Tennessee, in 1806. Descendants listed lived in Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and elsewhere.

Bethual Haines was born 28 April 1836 near Lytle, Warren County, Ohio. His parents were Wilkins Haines and Letitia Wharton. He married Rebecca Ann Gibbs (1842-1902), daughter of Jesse Gibbs and Hannah Ward, 16 April 1863. They had six children. He died in 1907 in Ridgeville, Ohio. Augustas Oliver (1818-1887) was born in Georgia. In 1840 he married Elizabeth Emaline Hamrick and they were the parents of ten children. In about 1855 the family moved to Tallapoosa County, Alabama. Augustus served in the Confederate Army in the Civil War and was captured at Vicksburg. He then returned to farming in Alabama.
