Peter Sickman, Sr. (ca. 1745-1837) lived in Franklin County, Virginia. His first wife was believed to be Mary Hale. His second wife was Catherine Nosseman Willis, a widow. At the time of Peter's death, his name was spelled "Sigmon". Descendants remain largely in the Virginias.

Richard Bandy (1720-1795) immigrated from Liverpool or Chester, England to Cumberland County, Virginia by 1755, and later owned land in Bedford County and Botetourt County as well. He stood trial for treason in 1780, and was pardoned. He married two or three times, and there is family disagreement about whether one of his wives was (Mahala) Jane Cummins, or whether she was a wife of his son Richard II (d.1815). Nicolas Gambs (1807-1886) was born at Rimling, France and died at Lake Charles, La. He was a descendant of Florentin Thiebaud (d. 1678) and Ann Elisabeth Cuillerie (d. 1703). He was the son of Jean Adam Gambs/Gahmps and Barbara Bach who remained in France. He married thrice: Barbara Wack, Anne Marie Chatillon and Margaret Weinstein. He had at least twelve children.

John Christian Hoffman was born in about 1705 in Germany. His parents were Hans Georg Hoffman and Catherina Margaret. He married and had seven children. They emigrated in 1751and settled first in Virginia and then moved on to Orange County, North Carolina. He died in 1780. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in North Carolina, Tennessee and Texas.

Hans Michael Mauser, son of Caspar Mauser, was born in 1707 in Württemberg, Germany. He married Agatha Gominger, daughter of Hans Jerg Gomminger. They had six children. They emigrated in 1751 and settled in Pennsylvania. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Germany, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Ohio, Missouri, Arkansas and Oklahoma.

Jacob M. (Mathias?) Weik (1756-1835) was "...born most likely in Pennsylvania, the son of a German immigrant..." He married Susannah Moir (Myers) in 1783 and died in Lincoln (now Catawba) County, North Carolina. Descendants lived in most of the United States.

Frederick Weiss was born before 1733, probably in Germany. He married Maria Warlick, daughter of Daniel Warlick and Maria Margaretha Marsteller, in about 1752 in Pennsylvania or North Carolina. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in North Carolina, Virginia, Kentucky, Illinois, Arkansas, Kansas and California.
