John Sisk immigrated to America in the early 1700s and settled in North Carolina. He was the father of a John Sisk, Jr. who, in turn, was the father of five children. One of the children was Elijah Sisk (1765-1850s?). He moved to Jackson County, Alabama where he continued to be a farmer. Descendants live in Alabama, Texas and other parts of the United States.

Josias Lanham was born in England, probably in Suffolk County. He married Mary Tibbold 14 February 1621/22. They had six children. Their grandson, John Lanham, was born in Wortham, Suffolk, England 18 May 1661. He immigrated to the United States in 1678. He married Dorthy Burch in 1689. John and Dorthy had four known sons, all born in Maryland. John likely died in Maryland sometime after the year 1745.

Benjamin Ketchum was born in 1804 in New York. About 1820 he moved to Ohio where he married Rhoda Benn Ketchum. They had eight children and remained in Ohio for the rest of their lives. After Benjamin's death Rhoda married John Roszell. Today descendants live in Ohio, Indiana, Texas, Washington, and elsewhere.

Chiefly a record of some of the descendants of Elisha Riston. Elisha was born ca. 1755. He married Aminta Albey 11 Jan 1779 in Prince George's County, Maryland. He also married Ann Mayoh on 7 Feb 1790 in Prince George's County, Maryland. Ann died ca. 1859 in Kentucky. Elisha died ca. Apr 1816 near Hopkinsville, Kentucky. They raised at least ten children. Ann was also known as Sarah Ann. Descendants lived mostly in Kentucky and Maryland.
