Thomas Skidmore/Scudmore/Scidmore (ca. 1605-1684) married his first wife, Ellen, in 1626, and brought her to Long Island, about 1643. He married Joanna Sanford, second and Sarah Keeler, third. Members of the three families remained in Massachusetts, Delaware and Long Island, New York for several generations before scattering.
