Joseph P. Jones (1807-1877), son of Joseph and Ruth Peaslee Jones and grandson of Jacob and Ruth Jones of Pittsfield, New Hampshire, married Mary D. Davis (1812-1902) in 1830. They had ten children, 1831-1850. Descendants listed, to ca. 1915, lived in New Hampshire, Vermont and elsewhere.

Richard Evans, was born in 1796 in Wales. He married Hannah M. Jones, 5 Nov 1827, in Kerry, Wales. Lorenzo Brown (1823-1900), was born in the township of Pomfret, Chautauque County, New York to Benjamin and Sarah Brown. Lorenzo's parents joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints after hearing missionaries preach in 1834 and later traveled to Nauvoo, Illinois June 6, 1839. They crossed the plains with the Latter-day Saint caravan in 1848 and settled in Utah before moving to Arizona. They had eight children.
