John Snow immigrated during or before 1708, probably from the Isle of Jersey, to Kelly's Island, Newfoundland. Descendants and relatives lived in Newfoundland and elsewhere. Some Snows immigrated from England to Massachusetts in the 1600s, and some descendants became members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and moved to Utah. Other descendants lived in New England, New York and elsewhere.

Biography of Warren Stone Snow (1818-1896) who joined the LDS Church in New Hampshire in 1833. He soon joined the Saints in Ohio and soon became one of Joseph Smith's bodyguards. Throughout his life he continued in his physical defence of the church and its leaders often risking his own life. Later he was involved in fighting the Black Hawk War and in preventing Johnson's army from entering Utah.

Wanda May Snow Petersen was born on December 12, 1911 in Cleveland, Utah. She was the daughter of Mason Levi Snow and Sarah Bangta Marsing. Wanda married Lorenzo Erastus Petersen, son of Christen Petersen and Ane Margrethe Lorentzen, on June 27, 1934 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Wanda died on August 9, 2002 in American Fork, Utah.

William Snow was born 14 December 1806 in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. His parents were Levi Snow (1782-1841) and Lucina Streeter (1785-1858). He married six times and had twenty-eight children. He died 19 May 1879 in Pine Valley, Utah. Traces his ancestry to Richard Snow (1607-1677), who emigrated from England and settled in Woburn, Massachusetts.

Willard Snow, son of William Snow (1806-1879) and Ann Rogers (1834-1928), was born in 1853 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He married Mary Melissa Meeks in 1877 in Kanosh, Utah. They had ten children. He died in 1937.

Nicholas Snow came from England in 1623. He married Constance Hopkins, (daughter of Steven) about 1623. Nicholas died in Eastham in 1676 and she died in 1677. Their children were Mark, Mary, Sarah, Joseph, Stephen, John, Elizabeth, Jebez, Ruth and three who probably died young.
