William Stephen Bedford, son of John Bedford (English ancestors) & Mary Ann Stephen (Irish ancestors) married Mary Moxley 17 June 1824. Mary was born 24 Nov. 1789. He & his wife are buried in southern Fulton County, Pennsylvania. William died 12 Aug. 1862 & Mary died 9 Aug. 1880.

John Spade I emigrated from Germany to America as a hessian soldier fighting for England during the Revolutionary War. He stayed after the war, and raised three sons, John II, Jacob and George. John II (1781-1850) married Elizabeth Bowersox and settled in Ellet, Ohio. Descendants and relatives lived in Ohio, Indiana, Michigan and elsewhere.
