Some focus is on (but not limited to) descendants of John Benson Sr., a sea-captain who probably came to Newport, Rhode Island, ca. 1690. He married there in 1714. Robert Harris, son of Robert Harris (1777-1839) and Sarah Oakey (1781-1837), was born in 1807 or 1808 in Hucclecote, Gloucestershire, England. He married Hannah Maria Eagles (1817-1888), daughter of Thomas Eagles (1775-1836) and Ann Sparks (1783-1855), in 1835. They had fifteen children. He died in 1875 in Kaysville, Utah. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in England, Utah and Idaho.

Family history and genealogical information about the descendants of Ezekiel Fuller who was likely born ca. 1660 in New England. He married Deborah (surname unknown). They were living in Virginia by the year 1712. Ezekiel was the father of twelve known children and died ca. 1723 in Isle of Wight Co., Virginia. Nicholas Sparks (ca. 1792-1862) emigrated from County Wexford, Ireland about 1816. In 1826, he married Sarah Olmstead Wright (1780-1871), widow of Philemon Wright Jr. Hamnett Kirkes Pinhey (1784-1857) and his wife, Mary Anne Tasker (1790-1852) also lived in the Bytown-March area. Descendants remained chiefly in Canada, but some did enter the United States.
