John Stafford (born ca. 1736) married Margaret Brunt in England and moved to Bohevny, Ireland. Descendants lived in Ireland and many came to Pennsylvania and Virginia. One descendant, Francis Marion Stafford (1838-1924) lived in Johnson County, Kentucky.

Samuel Spears was born in about 1761 in Pasquotank, Halifax, North Carolina. He served in the American Revolution. He married Sarah in 1775. They had four children. He married Rebecca Smith, daughter of Lauther Smith and Barbara Lauderback, in Tennessee. They had four children. Samuel died 27 May 1838 in Hawkins County, Tennessee. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Tennessee, Missouri, Oregon and Washington.

John Carver Anglin (1818-1904) was the son of John Anglin (b.1757) of Virginia, North Carolina and Tenn. He was a Justice of the Peace in Dickson Co., Tennessee. He married Nancy Spears, daughter of John Spears of Virginia and Tennessee. Their daughter Artemiza Jane Anglin married James Henry Hudson in 1847. They all moved to Washington Co., Arkansas. Marion Tevis Burris was born August 28, 1828, in Pike County, Kentucky. He was the son of Reverend Milton Lesley and Rachel Burris. On July 27, 1854 he married Agnes Spears. She was a daughter of John Spencer Spears and Roseanna Wells Spears, born May 6, 1834 in Johnson Co., Kentucky. Agnes and Marion Tevis had a family of ten children. Christopher Riffe was born in 1764 of German parents on the disputed border of Maryland and Pennsylvania. His family migrated to Virginia and there he married Mary Agnes Spears 9 May 1783. Later, he married a second time to Elizabeth Coffee in 1806. Christopher was the father of ten children. Descendants lived primarily in Kentucky, Virginia, Missouri and elsewhere.

William Spears was born ca. 1740, perhaps in Scotland and settled in Woodstock Windham County, Connecticut. He married in 1764, Mary Hammond, daughter of Jonathan and Katherine (Davis) Hammond. William died in 1784 and his descendants settled in North Penfield, New York, Huron/Erie County, Ohio, and Muskegon County, Michigan, Connecticut, and elsewhere.
