Philip Kinder was born in the Netherlands ca, 1700 and later settled in Pennsylvania. Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, Indiana, Ohio, and elsewhere. Includes information on the early Kinders of England, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Includes Henry family of Elizabeth Henry who married Isaac Kinter in 1818. Variations in name occurred, some using "Kinter", some "Kinder.".

Description
Christian Howsare (ca. 1725-1809), a native of Germany, probably arrived in Pennsylvania in 1734. He was living in Louden County, Virginia, in 1767. He and his wife, Mary, had four children, ca. 1770-ca. 1780. The family moved from Virginia to Alleghany County, Maryland, ca. 1790. He died there. Descendants listed lived in Maryland, Pennsylvania and elsewhere.

Peter Jacoby (d.1761) married Maria Elizabeth Heuer, and in 1741 the family immigrated from the Palatinate of Germany to Philadelphia, settling in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
