Richard Wainscott was born in 1711 in England. He emigrated in 1728 and settled in St. Mary's, Maryland. He moved to North Carolina in about 1750. He had six known children. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in North Carolina, Kentucky, Missouri, Indiana and Oklahoma.

John Stull was probably born in Germany between 1680-1700. He immigrated to America before 1725. He and his wife, Martha, had ten children. The first four were probably born in Pennsylvania, the others in Prince George's County, Maryland. He was the first permanent German settler west of Frederick County, Maryland. Joseph Mott was born in 1710 in Craven County, South Carolina. He married Jean in North Carolina. They had five sons. He died in 1792. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in South Carolina, Alabama, Louisiana and Texas.

Charles H. Jones was born in 1833 in Sumter County, South Carolina. His parents were Eli Jones and Barbara Stafford. He married Elizabeth Margaret David (1831-1887) in 1855. They had five children.
