Johann Georg Storch (ca. 1801-1846) was born in Germany. He married Eva Katherine Weihe, and they had three children. They immigrated to America in 1845, settling in Texas shortly before Johann died. Eva married Peter Birk in 1847, but had no more children. Descendants of Johann and Eva's only son, Valentine, spell their name "Starks". Many descendants live in Texas and surrounding states.
