Chiefly, a record of descendants of Benjamin Franklin Stinnett who was born somewhere in Ireland. He married Jane Karr on July 13, 1807. Jane was born in 1780. They had twelve children. The descendants are mostly from one of their sons, Noel Neal Stinnett. Benjamin died in Todd County, Kentucky in 1852. Jane died in the same place in 1855. Descendants lived in Kentucky, Tennessee and elsewhere.

John Stinnett was born between 1760 and 1770 in Virginia. He migrated to Tennessee with his family. His first wife died in about 1822. He married Elizabeth Wilkerson, who had one son named Alexander that John raised as his own. They had three more children, William, Benjamin and Margaret. John died in 1839. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Tennessee.

John Hale was born in 1754 in Bedford County, Virginia. He served as a soldier in the Revolutionary War. He married Mary Hail 17 August 1793 in Wythe County, Virginia. They had two known children, John T. Hale and Thomas Hale. He died 4 March 1838 in Bledsoe County, Tennessee. Descendants lived in Tennessee, Texas, Alabama, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and elsewhere.
