John Sydney Cooley married Sarah Jane Welch in Dent County, Missouri and served with the Confederacy during the Civil War. Descendants, ancestors and relatives lived in Missouri, North Carolina, Virginia, Kentucky, Arkansas, Alabama, Oklahoma, Texas and elsewhere.

William Mansfield/Mansfeldt and his two brothers emigrated from the Black Forest region of Germany to England and then to the Colonies in the late 1700's and landed at North Carolina. One brother went north and the other died shortly after landing. William stayed in North Carolina and married Rebecca Thomas. Cornelius Coyle, the immigrant ancestor, was born before 1775 in Ireland and died 1823 in Lexington, Kentucky. He married Rebecca Allen of Clark Co., Ky. in 1803. The Gano ancestors came from France and lived on Staten Island, New York, New Jersey, Kentucky and elsewhere. Ancestors of William Penn Coyle (1878-1937), son of William Penn Coyle and Mary Florence Fife, who was born in Thomasville, Ga. and died in Orange, Texas. He was married to Emma...

William Starling and his family immigrated from England to King William County, Virginia about 1740. Descendants moved to Ohio and elsewhere.

John Stites (ca.1745-1840), direct descendant in the fifth generation of immigrant John Stites, served in the Revolutionary War. He married twice and lived in Brooklyn, New York. Descendants and relatives lived in New York, New Jersey, Illinois and elsewhere.

Robert Smythe was born 26 February 1793 in Belfast, Ireland. He married Mary Brown (1795-1848), daughter of Alexander Brown and Elizabeth Logue. They had thirteen children. Robert died 8 March 1873 in Shueyville, Pennsylvania. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Ohio, Iowa, Kansas, Oklahoma, California and Oregon.
