Geneva Black was born in Hinckley, Utah, daughter of George Ayers Black and Emily Patridge. She was raised in Utah and Mexico and later married Emerald Wycliffe Stout. They lived in Colorado, Idaho, Utah, and Arizona.

Richard Stout, son of John Stout, was born in England. He married Penelope Von Princin in about 1622 in New York.

Family history and autobiographies of Mary Viola Allred, born 1904 in Guadalupe, Chihuahua, Mexico to Byron Harvey Allred and Mary Eliza Tracy, and Dewey Stout (1898-1962), born in Rockville, Washington Co., Utah to David Fisk Stout and Henrietta Cox. Dewey and Viola Stout were married 1921 in the Salt Lake Temple.

David Fisk Stout, son of Allen and Amanda Stout, was a polygamist with wives: Rettie, Mary Jane, Julia, and Sarah. He and his wives and their families moved from Rockville and St. George, Utah to the Colonies of Old Mexico in 1887. Many of the colonists returned to the United States due to the Mexican Civil War (1911-1920).

David Fisk Stout (1855-1932), a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, was born in Centerville, Utah, married four times, and died in Logan, Utah.
