Henry Strange was born in about 1685 in New Kent County, Virginia. His parents were Alexander and Anne Strange. He married Mary Liptrot in about 1724. They had six children. Henry died in 1746. His brother, Robert, was born in 1707. He had four children. He died in about 1765 in Rowan County, North Carolina. Traces the descendants of Henry and Robert in Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Oklahoma, Texas and elsewhere.

Edmond Alloway Strange, II was born in 1655 in Goochland County, Virginia. He married in about 1694 and had two known sons, Edmond and Robert. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, Kentucky, Alabama, Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas and California.
