William C. Cornwell, Sr., was born in 1768 in Virginia. Mary F. Swan was born in 1775 in Maryland. They were married in 1794. They had ten children, 1795-1819. The family was living in Maryland in 1795; in Virginia, in 1802; in Jefferson County, Kentucky, in 1807; and migrated to Orange County, Indiana, ca. 1821. He died there in 1845. James Bland, son of John Bland, married Lucy Brewster, daughter of Francis Brewster, in about 1690. They had five children. Descendant, Edward Stamper Bland immigrated to New York City. He married Agnes Cushing in about 1854. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in England, Ireland, Scotland, New York and New Jersey.

Jacob Strange and Katherine Roberts (Kitty Robards) were married about 1834. They had five children born at Frankfort, Kentucky. Katherine Roberts Strange died July 28, 1889 at Stevensville, Montana.

William Allen Strange was born 15 September 1844 in Frankfort, Kentucky. His parents were Jacob Strange (1801-1856) and Catherine Robards (1799-1889). He married Elizabeth Delilah Wood in 1876 in Ravalli, Montana. They had two children. He died in 1934. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, Kentucky and Montana.
