John Strange was born in 1742 in Virginia, and married there. The family moved to Union Co., South Carolina, and then Franklin Co., South Carolina, where he died in 1830. His son Seth settled in Georgia.

Description
William Allen Strange was born 15 September 1844 in Frankfort, Kentucky. His parents were Jacob Strange (1801-1856) and Catherine Robards (1799-1889). He married Elizabeth Delilah Wood in 1876 in Ravalli, Montana. They had two children. He died in 1934. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, Kentucky and Montana.
