Johanne Pieter StroĂĽb (1700-1760) was born in the Palatinate of Germany and immigrated to America in 1733. He settled in Pennsylvania with his wife, Ann Maria Barbara. They were the parents of at least eight children. Tradition states that both parents were killed by Indians. Descendants changed the surname to Stroup and presently live throughout the United States.

Thomas Leyland (1841-1885), son of James (1815-1885) and Jane (1815-1887) Leyland, lived in Ravenhead, Sutton, England. He married Ann Eden (1842-1906) in 1862 in Eccleston, Lancashire, England. She was the daughter of Isaac Eden (1803-1868) and Sarah Anders. They immigrated to the U.S. in 1872 and are buried in Pennsylvania. Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, California, and elsewhere.

Bernhard Wiest (1826-1898) and Johanna Hartmann (1830-1905) were both natives of WĂĽrtemburg, Germany. He immigrated to Crescent City, La. in 1854. He and Johanna Hartman/Hartmann were married ca. 1857. Only 4 of their 11 children lived to adulthood. Descendants have scattered throughout the United States.

Ferdinand Ottomeir was born 15 August 1837 in Westerwiehe, Germany. He was the son of John Ottomeir. Ferdinand immigrated to the United States sometime prior to his marriage to Christine Westhoff in St Paul's Church, St. Paul, Missouri. They were the parents of one child. Ferdinand later married Elizabeth Piney but no children came from this marriage. Descendants of Ferdinand and Christine lived primarily in Missouri, Maryland and Michigan.

Ludwig Freiberger/Frybarger (ca1743-1802) was born in Germany and was buried in Clermont County, Ohio. He immigrated to Philadelphia in 1764. He married Mary (d.1817) who was also buried in the Myers Cemetery. His daughter Framey (1769-1833) was probably born in Northumberland County, Pennsylvania. She married Jacob Stroup/ Straub (1767-1862) about 1788.
