Description
The Stringfellow family originated in Scotland where William Stringfellow was born. In the ealry 1700s he immigrated to what eventually became King George County, Virginia. He married Sarah Dorothy Elkins and they were the parents of seven children. Descendants moved to Tennessee, South Carolina and Alabama where they intermarried with Smiths, Williamses, Keadles and Owenses.

Robert Stringfellow was born in 1917 in Pennsylvania. He came from a close family and served during the Second World War. He married Helena Alwood in 1937. They had four children. There is a good biographical sketch of Robert Springfellow and several shorter sketches of individual ancestors included in this volume.
