Description
Benjamin Striplin (1820-1878) and his wife, Mary Kinsey (1825-1897), had thirteen children, 1844-1867. Their daughter, Susan Melina Striplin (b. 1850), married Alonzo A. Thompson (1848-1904) in 1870. They had seven children, 1871-1882. According to notes accompaning the records, Benjamin Stripling (Striplin) and Mary Kinsey were married in 1842 in Cass County, Georgia. They were probably living in Arkansas by 1850.

Marcus Lafayette Hasty was born in about 1790 in South Carolina. He married Nancy Barnett and they had two known sons. He married Nancy Arminda Jones 29 August 1830. They had five children. He died in 1862 in Jasper, Georgia. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Georgia.

William Jones, probably the son of Moses Jones and Nancy, was born in 1773 in South Carolina. He married Bashaba Coffey, daughter of Jesse Coffey and Nancy, in 1800 in Pendleton District, South Carolina. They had fourteen known children. He died in 1872 in Rabun County, Georgia.

Johannes Finkbeiner (1820-1874) married Regina Rachelle Wurth in 1843, and in 1871/1872 they immigrated from Germany to Barry County, Michigan (to join two sons who had earlier immigrated there, via Canada). Descendants and relatives lived in Michigan, Illinois, Missouri, Colorado and elsewhere. Includes ancestors and family history in Germany to about 1100 A.D.
