John Strong was born in Taunton, England in 1605. He moved to London, to Plymouth, and arrived at Nantasket, Massachusetts, May 30, 1630. His first wife, name unknown, died enroute to American or shortly after landing. She left 2 children, the younger of whom died in infancy at Dorchester, Massachusetts in 1630. Alice Strong Egbert was born in Utah in 1893. About 1915 she went to Tetonia, Idaho to help her sister and met Robert Egbert who she married in 1917. Later they lived in the Teton Basin, Lincoln, and Idaho Falls, Idaho. They had six children, four of whom reached adulthood. Alice died in 1972, leaving many descendants in many western states.
