Joseph Southwick (1809-1849) was a descendant of William and Mary Butler Southwick. His first wife, Mary Ann Martin died in 1846. In 1849, with their four children, his second wife, Mary Walters and her son, George, he immigrated from England, to New Orleans, to Kanesville, Iowa (now Council Bluffs) and then to Salt Lake Valley where he died. William Allmon (b. 1746) married Hannah Thomas (b. 1755) on 29 January 1773 in Maryland. Shortly thereafter, they removed to Pike Run Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, where their eight children were born. James, Elizabeth, John and William settled in Jefferson County, Ohio. Henry and Haman inherited their father's farm in Pennsylvania. Sarah died in infancy. Includes descendants of the seven surviving children in Pennsylvania and Ohio.

Samuel Paxton was born in Virginia in 1766, the son of Thomas and Rebecca Paxton. Samuel married Catherine Atkinson. Their children included Thomas, Elizabeth, John, Samuel, Catherine, Alexander, William, Jane, Nancy, Phoebe and George. Samuel died in 1841. His descendants moved to West Virginia. .
