John Lloyd (ca. 1733-1813) was a resident of Springfield, Pennsylvania. Three of his sons immigrated from Pennsylvania in the early 1800's and settled in York County, Ontario. Ancestry is traced to Thomas Lloyd (ca. 1666-1748) who was born in Merionethshire, Wales and died in Merion, Pennsylvania. Edgar Warren Smith, son of James Edward Smith and Sara C. Sutton, was born in 1862 in Georgia. He married Nellie Bond, daughter of James Oliver Bond and Mary Elizabeth Venney, in 1886 in Hamilton County, Texas. They had eight children. Includes Kellis and related families.

Walter Lorenzo Holbrook (1869-1947) was born at Ogden, Utah, the son of Walter Scott Holbrook (1843-1893) and Mary Elizabeth Bullock Holbrook (1848-1930). He joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1898. He married Ethel Pike in 1899 in the Salt Lake Temple. They had four children, 1900-1912.
