Harris Greenwood was born in about 1840 in Chickasaw Nation, Mississippi. He married Sarah Alowatubbee, daughter of Low-E-Tubby and Ho-Te-Yo-Pe, in about 1864 in Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory. They had five known children. He died in 1874 in Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Oklahoma, Texas and California.
