Periodical for the interchange of genealogial data and history of the Sweet (and variant spellings) families who came to America from England and Ireland in the 1700s. Some were Loyalists who later moved into Canada. Others settled in Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maine, Minnesota, Nebraska, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, and elsewhere.

Leota Mae Vance was born in Utah in 1929. Her great grandparents were among the early Latter-day Saint pioneers who came to Utah. She married Dean Fillmore and was the mother of at least one son. Her information on her ancestral lines makes up this collection of materials. Most of her ancestor were long time residents of the United States but at least one line comes from England about 1850.

Joseph Ready married Janie in about 1854 in Macon, Georgia. They had two sons. Joseph and Janie were sold to different slaveowners in 1859. Janie married Demetrius Sweat and they had five children. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Georgia, Tennessee and Arkansas.

William Wise arrived in New Orleans in 1837 on the Ship Calendonia out of Portland, Maine. William was "Born in Baltimore, age 17." He was working on the ship but either skipped ship or was left behind. Rasmus Christiansen was born 14 May 1837 in Time, Rogaland, Norway. His parents were Christian Omundsen and Martha Ellevsdatter. He married Gustine Christiansdatter 16 November 1865. They had twelve children. They emigrated in 1872 and settled first in Quebec and changed their name to Johnson. They lived in Illinois, Minnesota, and Utah. Rasmus died in 1922 in Park City, Utah. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Utah and Idaho.
