Periodical for the interchange of genealogial data and history of the Sweet (and variant spellings) families who came to America from England and Ireland in the 1700s. Some were Loyalists who later moved into Canada. Thomas Sweatman (1690-1777) was the son of Thomas (who died in Barbados) and Joyce Sweetman. He married 1721 in Chelmsford, Middlesex Co., Mass., Mary Proctor. They had two sons, Joseph and Ezekiel Swetman. Descendants live in Massachusetts and New York. .
