He married (1) Louisa Bennefield (d. ca. 1866) ca. 1861; (2) 1868 Amanda Safard Crites (1847-1917) also born in Pope Co., Ark. He had twelve children. Charles Collins Teague (1873-1950), son of Milton D. Teague (1848-1893) and Clara Wilson Collins (1849-1935), was born in Caribou, Maine. He married Harriet McKevett in 1897. He describes his activities as a citrus fruit and walnut grower. From his experience in agriculture, an important part of California's economy, he discusses labor, cooperative organizations, tariffs, and was a member of the Federal Farm Board.
