William Willis Teague (1840-1912) was born in Pope Co., Arkansas to Jack (or John) and Permelia Davis Teague. He married (1) Louisa Bennefield (d. ca. 1866) ca. 1861; (2) 1868 Amanda Safard Crites (1847-1917) also born in Pope Co., Ark. He had twelve children. Descendants live in Arkansas, Texas, Virginia, California and elsewhere.
