Joris Dircksen Brinckerhoff (ca.1604-1661) married Susanna Dubbels in 1628, and emigrated from Holland to Brooklyn, New York in 1640. Descendants (spelling the surname Brinkerhoff or Brinckerhoff) and relatives lived in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Iowa, Nebraska, Wisconsin and elsewhere.

Garret Jacobusse (1686-ca. 1768), son of Jacobus Jans, and his wife, Anna Van Ness, had six children, ca. 1713-ca. 1731. He died at Peequanack, Bergan County, New Jersey. Joost DeBaun, a Huguenot, was born about 1642 in France and fled about 1670 to Flanders. He married twice, moved to Middleburg, Holland, and in 1683 immigrated to New Utrecht, New York. By 1704, he was in Hackensack, New Jersey, and he died in 1722.
Descendants reside in Indiana, California, New York and elsewhere.

Jacob Nay (ca.1723/1724-1828) immigrated in 1726 or 1727, with his mother, Caty (Catherine) Nay, from Germany to Fauquier County, Virginia. Albert Albertse was born in about 1619 in Huinen, Gelderland, Holland. He settled in Flatlands, Long Island, New Amsterdam in 1637, where he became known as Albert Albertzen ter Huenen. He married Geertje Denyce, daughter of Teunis Nyssen Denyce and Phoebe Jans Fallix, in 1647. They had eight children.
