Thomas Thayer (1596-1665) was born at Thornbury, England, the son of Richard Thayer (b. 1562) and a descendant of John Thayer of Thornbury (d. 1561/2). He married Margery Wheeler in 1618. George Altstadt Jr. was born 5 July 1871 in Perham, Otter Tail Co., Minnesota. He was the son of John George Altstadt and Genovefa Ott.
