Patrick Dimond/Diamond/Dimon immigrated to America from Ireland sometime between 1757 and 1772. He married Sarah Stewart/Stuart and they had six children. Sarah died around Oct 1801 and Patrick died in Dec 1790 in Guilford County, North Carolina. Their children and descendants have lived in North Carolia, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Illinois, and other areas throughout the United States.

In 1837, William Thomasson married Ellen Storey and they had ten children before 1863 when them emigrated from Liverpool, England to Queensland, Australia. One more son, Walter was born there. Their son, John and his wife, Martha Cooper Thomasson had already emigrated in 1859.

Daniel McDonald (1675/1678-1733), of Scottish and probably Scotch-Irish lineage, married Sarah Brown about 1699, and settled in Chowan County, North Carolina. Daniel's surname in county records was first spelled "Mackdaniel" but later spelled McDonald (and all his children used McDonald); apparently Mackdaniel was an Irish variant spelling of McDonald. Isabel Kelly, daughter of John Shorter Kelly (1856-1917) and Lucy Ann Gavin (1859-1912), was born in Baker/Holt, Florida in 1886 and lived there until her marriage to Van Rensselaer Carpenter in1913 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama and Florida.

Peter Garrison was born in about 1701 in Ireland. He married Sarah and they had nine children, all apparently born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Peter died in 1746. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, Texas, Arizona, California and Alberta. .

James R. King was born in Johnson City, Tennessee in 1912. He married Ethleen Bohannon in 1936 in Victoria, Virginia.
