Descendants of Simeon Tyner (1805-1873), son of Elijah Tyner and his wife Frances Gideon, and Hester Ann Southwell (1808-1899). This couple was married in 1827 in Effingham Co., Ga. They had 17 children, who were all born in Georgia, and two foster children. Descendants live in Alabama, Georgia, Florida and elsewhere.
