Richard Gough (1828-1893), son of Richard Gough and Mary Anne Lone or Lane, was born in Stirchley, Shropshire, England. He married Tabitha Darkis Tonks (1835-1923), daughter of Timothy Tonks (1792-1868) and Ann Jones (1799-1883), in 1852 in Walsall, Staffordshire, England. They had ten children. He died in Payson, Utah.
