Joshua Lincoln was born in Tauton, Massachusetts in 1757. He married Elizabeth Seekins at Tauton on 5 January1783. They lived in for a short period of time during which time their first child was born. They then returned to Tauton. Descendants and relatives lived in Massachusetts, New York, Missouri, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, Nebraska, California, South Dakota, Washington, Wyoming, Oregon, Arizona and elsewhere.
