Thomas Bingham (1642-1730), son of Thomas Bingham and Ann Fenton Bingham. The younger Thomas emigrated with his widowed mother from England to Saybrook, Connecticut in 1659, and settled at Norwich, Connecticut. In 1666, Thomas married Mary Rudd (1649-1659) in Norwich. William Knox (b. 1720), the son of James Knox (the Scottish emigrant to Strabane, Ireland), also had a son named William Knox (1767-1851), and two other sons, George Knox (1764-1830) and John Knox (d. 1793), all three of whom immigrated to Pennsylvania between 1785 and 1791. "A fourth son, James Knox, remained in Ireland but moved from Strabane to Castlebar in county Mayo." Descendants of the three immigrants moved to the midwest.

Thomas Tracy, son of Thomas Tracy, was born in 1610 in Gloucestershire, England. He emigrated in 1636 and settled first in Massachusetts and then in Connecticut. He married Mary in about 1641. They had seven known children. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in England, Massachusetts and Connecticut. Includes Griswold, Lee, Parish, Tweed and related families.

Erasmus Darwin Tracy (1810-1877) moved from Connecticut to Centreville, Georgia, where he married Maria Isabella Hatcher in 1834, served in the Seminole War in Florida, settling then in Nassau County, Florida. Lucy Marie Canfield was born 7 Nov. 1846 in Ossian, Livingston, New York. She was the daughter of Isaac Augustus Canfield and Paulina Melissa Smith. Lucy died 16 May 1915 in Preston, Franklin, Idaho. She married John Willard Young 16 Feb. 1864 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah; they divorced. He was born 1 Oct. 1844 in Nauvoo, Hancock, Illinois.
