Georgina Shiner was born 26 November 1879 in Utah. Her parents were George William Shiner (1835-1918) and Janet Lefler (1841-1925). She married Edward Gardner Snow, son of James Chauncy Snow, 4 January 1901 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They had twelve children. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Germany, Scotland, Virginia, South Dakota and Utah.

Simon Huntington (1583-1633) was born in England (perhaps in Hempstead). He married twice, and immigrated in 1633 with his second wife, Margaret Huntington, to Roxbury, Massachusetts. He died at sea, and she married Thomas Stoughton in 1635/1636 and settled in Windsor, Connecticut. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Washington, California and elsewhere.

Walter Ker was born in 1656 in Scotland, where he was a parishioner in the Dalsert, Lanarkshire parish. He and his wife Margaret emigrated to America in 1685. John Mallett immigrated to South Carolina from Rochelle, France in 1687. Daniel Mallett, a descendant,(1790-1845) married Clarissa Jones, daughter of John Jones of Milford, Connecticut, in 1813. Henry Kitchen (1835-1858) immigrated from England to New Lyme, Ohio and married Hannah Guest, an English immigrant, in 1856. They had two sons, one born after Henry's death. Descendants lived in Ohio, Wisconsin, Washington, North Dakota, Minnesosta, California, Nebraska, Illinois, Colorado and elsewhere.

John Mumma, born 2 March 1750, was the son of John Christian and Margaret Zimmerman. His wife Ann Barbara, was born 11 March 1754.
