Joseph Kingsbury was born in 1600 in Boxford, Suffolk, England. He married Millicent Ames, daughter of Anthony Ames and Margery Pierce, in 1628. Simon Huntington (1583-1633) was born in England (perhaps in Hempstead). He married twice, and immigrated in 1633 with his second wife, Margaret Huntington, to Roxbury, Massachusetts. He died at sea, and she married Thomas Stoughton in 1635/1636 and settled in Windsor, Connecticut. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Washington, California and elsewhere.
