Andrew Messinger arrived in Boston from London in about 1637. Andrew and his wife, Sarah, were parents of three children. Chiefly ancestors and descendants of Harmon and Elizabeth Skelton Milner. Harmon, son of Jessie and Mary E. Craig Milner was born 28 April 1814 in Westhop, Columbiana County, Ohio. On 5 July 1835 in Lisbon, Columbiana County, Ohio, he married Elizabeth Skelton, daughter of John and Hannah Lee Skelton. The Francis Brayton family lived in Portsmouth, Rhode Island in 1643. It is thought by some family members that Francis may have come from England but definite proof is unavailable. Sergeant Thomas Foster (ca 1600-1682) and his brother, William came to America in 1634. He and his wife, Elizabeth settled in Weymouth, Massachusettes about 1640, but later moved to Braintree and then to Billerica where he died. One descendant was David Foster, Sr. (1758- 1821). Descendants lived in Massachusetts, New York, Michigan, Missouri, Wisconsin, Kansas, Illinois, New Mexico, California, Canada and elsewhere.
