Violet June Tripp was born in Idaho in 1916. Her parents were members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She married Floyd Olsen and they were the parents of eleven children. They eventually moved back to Utah where they raised their family. After Floyd's death she married Clyde Pulsipher. Biographical material on Floyd and Violet, and material on their ancestors is included in this volume. Descendants live in Utah, Wyoming, and elsewhere.
