John Tripp (1640-1719) lived in Portsmouth, Rhode Island and married Susanna Anthony (d. 1716) in 1665. His son John (b. 1673) married Mary Hart in 1693. Descendants have lived in Massachusetts, Maine, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York and elsewhere.
