Charles Wesley Truitt was born November 7, 1852 in Alabama and died March 28, 1920 in Lauderdale, County, Alabama. He married (1) Sarah Amanda Strong July 19, 1874 in Bluff Springs, Alabama, daughter of John Strong and Mary Allen. They had seven children. He married (2) Mary Leuizzer Odem December 22, 1894. Descendants lived mainly in Alabama, Tennessee, Indiana, and elsewhere.
