Benjamin Robbins was born in 1786 in Vermont and died ca. 1855 in Indiana. He moved from Vermont to New York State. He had four children with his first wife, Sarah Bailey, 3 sons and one daughter. Sarah died ca. 1826 in Steuben County. His second wife was named Maria. They had three children. The family moved to Indiana in 1837. Maria died there in 1838.
