Description
Robert Tudor was born ca. 1802 near Aberystwyth, Wales. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1830 and settled in Oswego County, New York. There he became known as "Tudor Roberts". He married Elizabeth Jones and they eventually came to Black Hawk County, Iowa in 1866. He later died the same year. Their son, Thomas, married Mary Landis. Descendants lived in Iowa, Oregon, California, Kansas, and elsewhere.

Henry Tudor (ca. 1720-1771) and his wife, Elizabeth (d.1779) both died in Sussex Co., Virginia. They were the parents of ten children. Their grandson, Owen, and his wife, Lucy, had four children. Family members attended church at "The Raccoon Swamp Meeting Place" south of Yale in Sussex Co., Virginia. Several generations of descendants are given, in Virginia and elsewhere.
