Alma Ruben Turley, son of Isaac Turley and Sarah Greenwood, was born in 1869 in Beaver, Utah. His family moved to Lehi, Arizona in 1877 and to Mexico in 1885. He married Delilah Jane Willis (1871-1946), daughter of William Wesley Turley and Gabrilla Stratton, in 1888 in St. George, Utah. They had thirteen children.

Peirce Noland (ca. 1658-ca. 1715), probably a native of Ireland, owned land in Cecil County, Maryland, by 1688. He was living in Charles County, Maryland, by 1692. His will was written in Stafford County, Virginia, in 1715. His grandson, Daniel Nowland (ca. 1712-1761), was born in Charles County, Maryland, the son of Stephen Nowland (ca. 1682-before 1733).
