Heinrich Hiestand was born 8 October 1704, probably in or near Ibersheim, Germany. He married in about 1732 and had seven children. He emigrated before May 1735 and settled in Hempfield Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He died in 1779. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Ohio, Indiana and Texas.
